Congratulations to Savani Danangoda-Gamage in the Lower 6 th on winning this year’s Zonta Young Woman in Public Affairs Award, along with $5,000 prize money. She will now be considered for the international award. The award is given to girls who have displayed an active commitment to voluntarism, displayed leadership and shown support for Zonta’s mission to build a better world for women and girls. Savani follows in the footsteps of other Moir students who have won the award, including Yumna Zaheed two years ago and former Captain of School, Zara Mathew.
